Write an exaggerated, coic-book-style superhero story. Hero -- Superb Al (bounces like a superball), Villain -- Sal Amander (breathes in and out of water) And the author must be the victim.

Our story begins in the Great Halls of Justice where evil villain Sal Amander is being tried for purposely infecting thousands of Granthum City citizens.

"Mr. Amander," Judge Arnett seriously addressed the 30 year old super-villain dressed in a green leotard and cape.  "I understand that in spite of all the evidence presented against you by the State, you are pleading not guilty?"

Sal Amander leaned back in his wooden chair next to his lawyer and put his green converse shoes up on the shiny polished defendant's table.  He blew a large green bubble with his gun, snapping it loudly as he sucked it back into his mouth, "I'm completely innocent.  I had nothing to do with it.  I'm being framed,"  he grinned widely showing off his sharp and crooked teeth like a basking crocodile.

Several spectators who wore green as well, and were there in support of Sal, snickered loudly.

"Order in the court!" Judge Arnett hammered with his gavel.

Just then, there was a commotion heard in the hallway.  Everyone in the courtroom froze except Sal who stood up and blew another fat bubble.  There was a loud thunk on the courtroom doors followed by several screams of agony.

The baliffs in the courtroom ran to the large wooden doors, throwing them open as a cloud of green mist wafted into the room.  The baliffs dropped to the floor writhing in agony, and the courtroom burst into chaos.  Everyone was screaming and running to evade the green fog.

The two spectators in green put small gas masks over their faces and threw one to Sal Amander.

Sal popped his bubble and said, "Well, this has been fun, but that's my ride."  He put on his gas mask and disappeared into the hallway which was filled with bodies and the remnants of the green mist. The two spectators in green fell into step behind him as they pushed out of Granthum City's District Court building.

On the steps leading down to the street there was Green and Black 1966 Salamander getaway car. Smiling Sal jogged toward the car.

One minute Sal was on his feet and the next he was knocked backward like a pin being struck by a bowling ball.  Superb Al had arrived.

Sal's body flew over the car and landed in some green grass by a small lake near a woman eating lunch on a bench.  Superb Al bounced over the car and unrolled from the human-shaped bowling ball to stand heroically over Sal.  He was dressed in a black leotard with neon orange edging and a neon orange cape.

"Tsk, tsk, Sal,  You didn't really think I'd let you escape, did you?" Al asked.  The small, brown haired woman wearing a business suit clapped politely.

Sal stood brushing himself off, "Oh, I assumed you'd come bouncing my way today, and that's why I always have a Plan B!"  He turned to the woman, "What is your name, my dear?"

Sal leaped up grabbed the woman around her neck, dragging her toward the water, "Well, it doesn't really matter what your name is, does it?  I'd really love to stay, Al--"

"Stop lying Sal," Al said as he circled the pair, looking for a way to attack.  "You wouldn't want to be known as an Am-fib-ian."

Sal rolled his eyes and groaned, "Shut up, Al, your jokes are as bad as your outfit."  He pulled the woman out into the water and continued to drag her deeper.

"Can you hold your breath, honey?" Sal asked evilly?  "We are going for a swim,"  he clutched her tightly to his side.

"See you later, Al!" Sal waved with his free hand.  "I'm sure I'll be seeing you around, loser."  Sal and the woman were up to their chests in the water.

Al was trying to follow them, but he kept floating because that is what super-balls do in water, so he couldn't to save her.  He stood on the shore helplessly as Sal continued to drag the young woman deeper.

Sal and the woman disappeared under the water, and Al hung is head in despair.  Just then there was a loud snap, and all the hairs on Superb Al's body stood on end.  He lifted his head and saw the lake glow brightly for an instant.  Sal's green body popped up lifelessly to the top of the lake, and Al scanned the water for the woman's body.

An instant later he saw her swimming back to shore.  When she was a few feet from the edge, she stood, her dark suit soaked and dripping.

Al reached out and heroically helped her to shore, "How?' he blustered.  "How did you escape?"

"Let me introduce myself.  I'm Mary, but you can call me Short Circuit."
